This course will provide a solid foundation for a career in business development and analysis. We explore the strategy, phases, components and process a BA uses to develop a project. From conducting an enterprise analysis to assessing the solution’s implementation, you will learn the basics of how to manage the process and determine the appropriate parties to be involved. The BA is responsible for requirement gathering, analyzing the needs of the project, documenting the criteria to be met, sharing information among project team members and presenting findings to company executives. You as a Business Developer/Analyst will be a bridging gap between the development team and Client.
With this course a participant can expect to clearly communicate and discuss how the business plan can be used as a tool for communicating the business idea, value proposition and unique values of a company. Other technical skills include the ability to use modeling tools, such as Visio or Enterprise Architect, requirements management tools, such as DOORS or Caliber, or project and defect management tools.
Business analysis techniques includes the ability to create visual models, such as work-flow diagrams or wireframe prototypes. Participants will develop professional skills like teamwork, project management and written as well as spoken forms of communication and understand how business intelligence methods can be used as tools for business development decision making..
